2024 is off to a busy start and we are here for it! We’re looking forward to another amazing year with our stunning brides and clients. We are also super excited about the 2024 Wedding Beauty trends that we are seeing.
On that note, let’s talk about 2024 Wedding Beauty Trends! We know that hair and makeup trends come and go quickly as seen on TikTok and Instagram but what about bridal beauty trends?
Sofia Richie Grainge has been a huge trendsetter for bridal trends and had us all captivated with her stunning wedding in April of 2023. Her look was done by makeup artist Pati Dubroff and hair artist Kathleen Riley. These beauty trends seem to have stuck, and are big for 2024. Another trending look that is trailblazing the wedding scene is the ballet-core look (think bows and pink!) which we will cover below.
Here is what we think will be hot and trending this year:
Hair trend: Sleek bun
Let’s start off with none other than the sleek bun. Although this look is trending, it’s safe to say it will remain timeless. The sleek bun offers a chic elegance and, bonus: you will avoid having your hair sticking to your neck on those hot summer days. I mean Miss Sofia herself approves! This style is also a great way to show off your décolleté and facial features.
Hair trend: Bows
Bows, bows, bows! We are seeing them EVERYWHERE and honestly we’re obsessed. Bows are the perfect addition to a variety of hair looks like a sleek ponytail or a half up, half down ‘do. They add a beautiful soft and feminine touch to your wedding day look. Bows have also come a long way from our grade school days and come in a variety of fabrics as well as nice touches like pearls or even bows made entirely out of tulle!
Makeup trend: Glowy but natural
This is a great look for lovers of the clean girl makeup trend. This glam will achieve a more natural glow, think a ‘less is more’ look. This is perfect for summer brides and will last all day/night. A good exfoliating and moisturizing skincare routine leading up to the wedding will go a long way towards achieving this look because a glowing complexion is the star of the show.
Makeup trend: Ballet-core Beauty
This look is amazing for our pink loving brides and a great continuation of the Barbie mania of 2023. Cream products are a must to achieve this monochrome look as well as a great luminous base paired with a perfect nude-pink lip. This trend pairs well with both the sleek bun and bow trends.
